Semi-Finals & Championships
The Spring 2024 Semi-Final/Championship matches are here! Who will be crowned the State Champions? This Saturday the top high school teams in Michigan will battle it out in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Rocket League, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Overwatch 2! Below you will find all the information you need to know before you attend the event. Please share this information with everyone who may be attending.

- Award winners, collegiate representatives and coaches & student athletes playing in a semi-final do not have to pay.

No food/drinks will be provided; multiple locations on and near campus to purchase. What to Bring:
Snacks and a water bottle are suggested - there are water filling stations at OU. For competitors - bring your own required equipment.

Optional: Grizzly Solo Smash Tournament
- Individual Smash Tournament open to any 9th-12th grade student (not participating in semi-finals/finals); no pre-registration required
- No entry fee (included with $10 spectator fee for the day)
- Prizes/awards for Top 2 finishers
- Begins at Noon (12:00 p.m.) in the lobby
area on the second floor (next to event registration); we recommend to be on location between 11:00 a.m. & 11:30 a.m. to get settled and warmed up.
Event Photo & Media Release
The event that you are attending will be held in areas where photographs are taken or other media formats are used. You understand that attendance at the event is contingent acceptance of the following release, to which (by registering and/or attending) you hereby expressly agree to the following: I consent to publication and use of my own name and/or likeness (name and likeness collectively “Likeness”) for the purpose of promotion, publicity, advertising, or other manner or media by the Michigan High School Esports League (MHSEL), or any other representative authorized to act on behalf of MHSEL. Likeness includes, but is not limited to, photographs, sound and/or video recordings, films, broadcasts,
brochures, publications, reports, web pages, promotional materials or any other audio visual, electronic, printed, tangible work in any media or format, and/or reproductions of same. I agree that the actual material involved is and will be MHSEL’s property and that I don’t have a right of review or approval regarding the use of my Likeness in such material. I hereby release and hold harmless MHSEL, along with its respective employees, agents, affiliates, sponsors, or other representatives, from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of the use of my Likeness, in accordance with the terms of this release. I understand and agree that I will not be compensated for the use of my Likeness by MHSEL. Furthermore, I agree to indemnify MHSEL against any damages, costs, or fees incurred in defending against any claims, demands, or causes of actions filed on my
behalf arising from the public and/or use of my Likeness.
At this event I understand that I am expected to treat others with respect and if I behave in a way that is deemed unacceptable or unsportsmanlike by the event organizers, I can be removed from the event. Unacceptable behavior could be (but is not limited to): inappropriate language/swear words, hand gestures, and physical violence.
