Commissioners confirm Hearing deferral for Akaroa wastewater scheme

Today we received a minute from the Hearing Panel Commissioners advising they have deferred the Hearing. This is to enable the Council to prepare its resource consent applications for the discharge of treated and raw wastewater into the harbour. 

The commissioners have not specified a timeframe for the deferral but have directed the Council to provide monthly progress reports on the applications.
