SLIP+ for Alabama & Montana Will Launch in Two Days
The wait is almost over. SLIP+ launches for Alabama & Montana on Thursday, January 1.
Here’s what to expect and how to prepare for your first login:
- You can log in starting January 1 at https://states.slipplus.com/slip/auth/login
- Once inside, you’ll be able to assign Alabama or Montana as your active filing state and begin filing

REMINDER: Upcoming XML Batch Filing Schema Upgrade to Version 1.7
Effective January 1, 2026, the XML batch filing schema will be updated to version 1.7. This update supports the onboarding of Alabama and Montana into SLIP+.
All users must update the schema version in their XML files even if you are not reporting policy data for Alabama or Montana. The updated batch documentation is available on the Batch Filing page within the SLIP+ for States platform.
Beginning January 1, any file submitted with schema version 1.6 or earlier will be rejected.
