Are you planning to graduate this spring? This is the first in a series of emails that will provide the details you need to prepare for Spring 2023 Commencement!

Whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student, everyone who intends to complete a degree or participate in a ceremony this spring must complete the graduate checklist, which includes important tasks such as:

Apply to Graduate

Students must apply to graduate in the Student Center of MyUW to attend the ceremony and receive their diploma. All graduates must complete their applications by Friday, March 31, in order to have their names printed in the commencement program.

Reserve Your Cap and Gown

All graduates must wear a cap and gown to participate in the ceremony. Place your order through the University Book Store to ensure your academic regalia reflects your intended degree. To request a scholarship to cover the cost of your commencement attire due to financial hardship, please fill out this form.
