Are you planning to graduate this semester? This is the first in a series of emails that will provide the details you need to know for Winter 2023 Commencement!

Whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student, there are a few important steps to prepare for graduation:

Apply to graduate

To apply to graduate, go to the Student Center in MyUW. You must apply by Friday, November 3 to ensure your name is printed in the commencement program.

Reserve your cap and gown

To participate in the ceremony, all graduates must wear academic regalia. Secure your cap and gown today by ordering through the University Book Store.

Check out the graduate checklist to learn more about key dates, deadlines, resources, and information leading up to, during, and after the ceremony.

You Could Be the Student Speaker
