How to get a Maritime Callsign and MMSI number for your vessel?

Maritime Radio Operator’s Certificate of Competency and callsigns are issued by a Maritime Approved Radio Examiners (ARX). They will offer you the appropriate examination and issue a callsign if you need it. Please note that not all Examiners are able to offer every type of examination.

For Maritime Mobile Service Identity (MMSI):

If you already have a callsign but not an MMSI, and you need one, a Maritime ARX can help you with the process.

For any queries about maritime certificate of competency or maritime callsigns, please contact a Maritime ARX. You can find a list on our website. Just select the filter “Examiner” in the left panel and then the experience/examination type you are looking for.
