We're here to help if you have damp and mould in your home
During the colder months, your home is more at risk of being affected by condensation, damp and mould. As your landlord, we are here to help.
If you call us to report mould, we will help to identify the cause of the damp. If something is broken, like a leaking pipe or a damaged roof, we will fix it. We will also see if you need new extractor fans or a ventilation unit.
We can also do mould washes, and stain blocks and provide you with redecoration packs.

I live in a flat and my neighbour has a newborn baby that I can hear crying. It’s starting to affect me, I can’t relax in the evenings after work and it’s affecting my sleep, and I don’t know what to do.

Thanks for getting in touch. I’m sorry to hear this is affecting you, we know people who live in flats are more prone to hearing the noise of people around them.
Babies crying is not classed as antisocial behaviour, but it is affecting you, so we suggest taking the following steps:
Firstly, we always recommend people start by speaking to their neighbours about any issues, politely, and to explain their point of view. This is usually much more likely to resolve matters quickly and without ongoing problems.
If you feel the level of noise is above a normal level, then there is a Noise App you can find on your app store. You can record the noise and send it straight to us for review. We can then discuss with you if there is any action we can take. If you are worried about the welfare of a child, you should raise it with social services. We will also pass on any concerns if they are raised with us.

We now keep in touch with you if you are booked for a repair to ensure you are kept in the loop and reminded of your appointment.
Playing our part in solving the housing crisis
In December of 2023, the Paradigm New Business team closed a total of 323 newly contracted future homes for our customers across five sites throughout our core region.
These newly contracted homes account for 65% of our target for the year completed in just one month and means we’ll be able to house an extra 323 families and individuals shortly.
All sites have homes available for both rent and shared ownership.
