Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency has completed the work necessary for a designation of land to be put in place for a future transport corridor between Warkworth and Wellsford.

Auckland Council publicly notified the Warkworth to Wellsford application package on 18 May and is now calling for submissions.

The full application, as well as information on how to make a submission, is available on the Council website.

A copy of the application is also available to view at Orewa, Warkworth and Wellsford libraries.

To assist you with preparing a submission, Transport Agency representatives will be available to help people navigate the application documents at both Warkworth and Wellsford libraries this Wednesday 3 June.

Warkworth Library, 2 Baxter Street, Warkworth, between 9.30-11.30am,

Wellsford War Memorial Library, 13 Port Albert Road Wellsford, between 12.30-2.30pm.

We will return to both libraries on Saturday 13 June (Wellsford 9.30-11.00am, Warkworth 11.30am-1pm) and invite people to drop in to their local library during these times.

The Warkworth to Wellsford project team is also available to meet with you online (via Skype or MSTeams), or via phone or email to answer any questions you may have about the application.

To request a meeting, or to seek further information, please contact us via email on warkworth-wellsford@nzta.govt.nz or via freephone 0508 927 2935.

The submission period will close on 29 June.
