Hello Quakers!

All members of the Class of 2025 are required to check-in with their PHINS Orientation Group at 10am either on Penn Commons (Groups 1-60) or College Green (Groups 61-120) and have their attendance recorded.

PHINS Orientation Groups tour campus, eat brunch, enjoy a presentation on Safe Living at Penn, and receive the official NSO wristband. The NSO wristband is required for access to all meals and events.

Safe Living Prerequisite
In preparation for today’s Safe Living presentation, you should review the content included in TAP Module 4: Safe Living & Public Safety.

PHINS Orientation Group Look-Up
If you are unsure of what group you are in, please visit the online PHINS Orientation Group Look-Up. This site provides information on your PHINS Orientation Group and mandatory meeting times and locations throughout NSO.

Masks & PennOpen Pass Daily Symptom Checks
Please wear a mask at all orientation events. Additionally, all students are now required to complete PennOpen Pass daily symptom checks. You may be asked to show a Green Pass at orientation events, so fill out your daily symptom check here.

For today’s weather, we are again expecting a sunny, hot, and humid forecast, with a high of 92 degrees.

Events marked [M] are mandatory. Please note that failure to attend mandatory events where attendance is taken, could result in a hold being placed on your spring 2022 registration.

If you have any questions or would like more information about any of the NSO programs, look for our well-trained volunteers, the PHINS, all around campus in light blue and dark blue t-shirts, visit www.nso.upenn.edu or email us provost-nso-ai@pobox.upenn.edu.
