From the Chiltern Visitor Information Centre

Hello everyone,

What a fantastic start to spring it has been in Chiltern. The recent Antique Fair was a tremendous success, attracting more than 200 additional visitors compared to last year and generating strong support for local businesses, accommodation providers and attractions. From sold-out scones at the Courthouse to busy retailers and galleries throughout town, the event showcased the wonderful community spirit that makes Chiltern such a welcoming destination.

The beautiful weather has also encouraged visitors to explore everything the region has to offer. Birdwatchers are returning as spring brings increased activity across our local habitats, while recent rain has the waterfalls in Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park flowing beautifully, providing the perfect excuse to get outdoors and enjoy the sunshine.

Don't forget, the Chiltern Spring Community Market is on this Sunday 6 September in the Tourist Park on Main Street. Looking ahead, October is shaping up to be a busy and exciting month, with an art exhibition at the Chiltern Courthouse, the local CLAP production at the Star Theatre, and the ever-popular Back to the 1950s Weekend all on the calendar.

Have a wonderful fortnight ahead.
