Understanding New Donors in 2025: What Christian Nonprofits Need to Know

According to the “New Donor Study” by BBS & Associates, there are more than 72 million Christian donors in the U.S. who are open to supporting a charity or ministry they have never supported before.  

However, many never act on that openness. This "gap" is not rooted in a lack of generosity, but rather in a lack of clarity from ministries. Many organizations fail to build trust, show impact, and differentiate themselves from well-branded secular alternatives.

Christian Media Leader joins AFMDA’s National Board of Directors

Troy A. Miller, president and chief executive officer of the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), has been appointed to the American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA) National Board of Directors.

Troy A. Miller was elected president and CEO of NRB, an international association of Christian communicators, in 2022, having served as Interim CEO since 2019.

“Troy and NRB have demonstrated an unflinching commitment to Israel and Magen David Adom,” said Catherine Reed, CEO of AFMDA. “We are honored to welcome him to the board and are confident that his passion for Israel, strategic insight, and principled leadership will be a tremendous asset for years to come.”

“For generations, the National Religious Broadcasters have stood with the people of Israel,” Miller said. “It’s a bond built on faith, history, and love for the Promised Land.”
