Issue 34  - /08/2025

It’s been a big month at CLUBMAP, and we’re excited to share what’s new in the world of community sport and club development.

CLUBMAP has officially partnered with the Eastern Cricket Association (ECA) to support and educate the people running ECA’s 80+ clubs.

This partnership will see CLUBMAP become ECA’s exclusive club development provider for the 2025/26 season, helping clubs become stronger, more sustainable, and better-equipped for the future.

We've kicked off our brand-new webinar series, The Formula for a Successful Club. We’ve already delivered the first two sessions, with great feedback and strong engagement from clubs around the country.

Registrations for all of the remaining webinar topics are live now! The next topic will cover all things Revenue and Fundraising for community clubs. Please pass on this link to register to all your community colleagues or club representatives.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been having some fantastic conversations with councils and governing bodies about how we can support stronger, more sustainable clubs at scale.

Read on for the latest news, upcoming sessions, and practical tools to help your club thrive.

Grassroots clubs are the foundations of elite sport, and they bring vitality and connection to local life. But they can be demanding for the people who run them, who often turn to councils and governing bodies when they need help. Now, the help they need is available on any platform or phone.

Finding the right funding can be a game-changer for community sporting clubs, helping to support everything from new programs and equipment to facility upgrades.

Staying informed about these opportunities is key to making the most of what's available, so consider which grants might be a good fit for your club's needs.

June and July are generally quieter months for available grants; however, we've highlighted upcoming grants available to clubs across Australia below.

If CLUBMAP education and support could help your club go to the next level, but the club doesn’t have the necessary funds available, let us know. In many cases, we can help clubs find the funds. Our grants team are working with clubs around the country to support their grant applications. Our experienced team members know where to look for grants, who qualifies for what and how to put together a successful application – all at no cost to your club!

If your club could benefit from proven support to increase revenue, recruit more volunteers and boost off-field operations across the board, contact the grants team - button is below.

Sometimes clubs know something's not quite right, but they don’t know what it is, which makes it very difficult to fix. Maybe you and a few other good people are doing too much of the work, volunteers are burning out, you're just keeping the club above water financially, and membership and sponsorships are constant challenges.

If this sounds like your club, we'd love to help.

Click below to book an obligation-free chat with the CLUBMAP team to discuss your club's situation and how to build a roadmap to a healthier future, along with help to identify a grant to pay for our support. We want to see people enjoying their clubs.
