Seasons greetings from Study NSW

As we approach the end of 2024 and the countdown to 2025 begins, let's take a moment to reflect on and celebrate a truly remarkable year.

Study NSW hosted a record number of events for international students, both in NSW and globally. From Sydney to Newcastle, Wollongong, Santiago, Mumbai, Jakarta, Vietnam, and Shanghai, we had the pleasure of connecting with many students who now call NSW home.

We also welcomed thousands of international students through our Welcome Desks at Sydney and Newcastle airports, earned the prestigious International Education Association of Australia (IEAA)’s Best Practice Awards and the global PIEoneer Awards for our World's First Homestay Quality Standards in partnership with NEAS Australia.

A heartfelt thank you to our partners across education, government, business, and community — together, we’ve helped provide a world-class study experience.

Most importantly, congratulations to the over 300,000 international students in NSW. By choosing to study in our vibrant state, you’ve not only achieved academic success but also embarked on a journey toward global careers!

Our wishes to you

We wish you a relaxing break and hope you make the most of what's left for this year. We encourage you to take this time to explore our beautiful state, and celebrate with your loved ones.

Office closure

Our team will be away during the NSW Government shutdown period between Monday 23 December 2024 until Monday 6 January 2025.
