Short Term Missions for All: STM 2023!
Whether you’re intrigued by the adventure of exploring and evangelizing in Prague, getting a taste of the Ugandan “outback” in Karamoja, or honing your evangelism skills at the sunny Boardwalk Chapel in Wildwood, OPC Short-Term Missions really does have an opportunity for all! Although there are many differences in these fields, they have one thing in common: there are people at each location who need to hear the gospel! Time is running out to get in on these trips, so be sure to learn about each one below and reach out to the contact person listed for the field you’re interested in—even if it’s just to ask a simple question! Parents, have you ever talked to your son or daughter about participating in short-term missions? Short-term missions is a great way for them to travel and sightsee while
deepening their relationship with Christ.

Helping Your Brother in Need: Crates for Ukraine
Grace Chung, a member of OPC Franklin Square in New York, felt inspired by 1 John 3:17: “But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?” as she and her church family packed four crates with medical supplies for the Crates for Ukraine-Winter Edition. In all, the OPC delivered an amazing 307 crates to Dallas and Chattanooga as part of Mission to the World’s Crates for Ukraine Winter Edition. Seventy-two OP Churches from 16 presbyteries in 24 states participated! MTW L’viv team leader, Doug Shepherd, is hugely grateful for the OPC’s participation in the relief efforts here. We are “punching way above our weight class”, he
says. Conservative estimates for the overall MTW CFU Winter effort came in at over 800 crates! Praise the Lord for the connected church and for His work during this horrific time!

Turkey Earthquake Fund Update
To date we've collected $112,507 in donations! Thanks to all those who have given! Recently OPC Disaster Response agreed to send $20,000. of those funds to one of our ministry partners in the region and is considering other avenues where these funds may minister while sharing the gospel. The fund continues to be open to accept donations. Please continue to pray for the efforts of Reformed pastors and missionaries in the region.

Registrants Respond to
Neon Needs
A recent plea to the OPC Disaster Response registrants for volunteers brought an abundance of inquiries to our volunteer coordinator, Jane Robinson. Thank you! Mike Kelly now has many additional hands for the rest of the month of March, but more are needed for April and May! Our faithful site coordinators, Mike and Sylvia Kelly, who arrived in Neon in late February have been busy meeting with those in the Neon community to find out more about each specific need.
Missionary Associate Jed Homan cleaning a water tower
A Time of Spiritual Growth in the Ugandan Wilderness
Jed Homan, OPC Uganda Mission missionary associate, returned home on March 1, 2023 following his six-month term in Uganda. During his time at in Uganda, Homan worked to repair and improve mission equipment/vehicles, water and solar systems, and met other maintenance needs. He was an eagerly welcomed visitor to the mission, as the missionaries on the ground were thankful for his timely assistance and aptitude for fixing just about anything. Jed returned grateful for the experience and thankful for the opportunity to serve. He says, “Though some days and some tasks were challenging at times, overall it was a time of spiritual growth for me.”
