Fourteen years ago I had my first opportunity to experience Awasi's operation in San Pedro de Atacama - I was impressed. In March of this year I was fortunate to go back to the Atacama and also to experience their 'new' lodge near the Iguazu Falls in Argentina. I am very happy to report they both offer excellent accommodation, a delicious culinary experience and a great range of private and tailored excursions.

Colourful Houses of Niaqornat West Greenland
It’s strange that a country with the name of Greenland has very little green. The origins of the name give it away; in 982 Erik the Red wanted to encourage settlers to move from Iceland to Greenland. Erik was reasonably successful as over the years the community grew to perhaps 3,000 inhabitants.
