Amber Heat-Health Alert issued for London

The UK Health Security Agency has issued an Amber Heat-Health Alert for London that will remain in effect until 9pm on Sunday 10 September. The alert indicates that weather impacts are likely to be felt across the whole health service, and that we may see some health impacts across the wider population, not just the most vulnerable groups of people.

Beat the heat this week with Age UK's guidance for vulnerable and older people, the government’s Cool at home checklist and The Mayor's Cool Spaces map of indoor spaces where Londoners can shelter from the sun.
