The judging process is now underway, and I know a lot of hard work has gone into each business's submission. Superconductor Destined for Space Mission Built in Lower Hutt Shed
The Hutt Valley boasts 400% more scientists and researchers than anywhere else in New Zealand. Hidden behind humble roller doors, groundbreaking work is happening. A recent highlight: the Paihau-Robinson Research Institute is assembling a superconductor destined for a space mission. This cutting-edge technology, created in Lower Hutt, will soon head to the International Space Station, with the potential to one day reach Mars.
