Come to PCP Founders' Day Student Celebration on February 23rd! Philadelphia College of Pharmacy was founded on February 23rd, 1821 in Carpenters' Hall. Celebrate our birthday at the 2023 PCP Founders' Day Student Celebration! The party will be held on Thursday February 23rd from 1-3 PM in ARC MPR. ISPOR - OPEN EXECUTIVE BOARD POSITIONS! ISPOR has three executive board positions available for this year: treasurer, events coordinator, and student council representative. Elected students who help grow the organization have a higher chance of being on the executive board next year as well. LOCATION CHANGE: Are you interested in learning about innovative pharmacy practices? Come join PPA and NCPA on March 7th from 2pm to 3pm at LLC 102 to learn more about the innovative practices at The Medicine Shoppe of Boyertown. IPhO Philadelphia Chapter Conference! Interested in networking with pharmacy students from other schools? Join us for our first IPhO Philadelphia Chapter Conference on March 31st. Learn about different functional areas and build lifelong relationships with student pharmacists and industry professionals from PCP, Temple, and Jefferson University! This event will be held at the SFC at Temple University from 5-9pm. Admission fee is $30, which will be reimbursed after the event. PPCN Pharmacy Internship Opportunity - Norland Avenue Pharmacy. This summer, Norland Avenue Pharmacy will offer a PPCN Internship Program this summer. This internship normally lasts around 10 weeks from June to August and would take place at our pharmacy in Chambersburg, PA. The internship would have a focus on clinical service implementation and operation and PPCN payer contract engagement. This would be a great opportunity for a student to learn about implementing/growing clinical services and non-prescription payment opportunities in a community pharmacy setting. If you have any students that may be interested, email Dr. Ashli Yoder at ayoder@norlandrx.com. The American Public Health Association (APHA) Pharmacy Section hosts webinar on Pharmacists' Perspectives on Substance Use. The American Public Health Association (the other "APHA") Pharmacy Section would like to invite you to join us for our student webinar on Thursday, 8 PM - 9 PM EST for our presentation on Pharmacists' Perspectives on Substance Use. SCCP's First General Body Meeting! Interested in clinical pharmacy? Want to learn more about what it means to be a clinical pharmacist? Looking to get involved in new upcoming professional pharmacy organization ? Come out to SCCP's first general body meeting on FRIDAY FEBRUARY 10TH during SJU Common hour from 12:30-1:30 in STC 137!
