There are options for everyone, whether you are new to the industry, have recognised qualifications or are an experienced home energy assessor. Scorecard training is online which makes it easy to access wherever you are. Going all-electric?Have you been thinking about transitioning your home to all-electric but unsure where to start? You might enjoy this fun video, and share it with your networks! The Scorecard tool now has an all-electric feature which allows Scorecard Assessors to set the tool to provide electric-only upgrade recommendations for their customers. With a Scorecard assessment you will get detailed information on your home's energy performance and expert advice from a government-accredited assessor, targeted to your home and individual circumstances. Scorecard Assessors are energy efficiency experts who provide a clear pathway for householders to achieve their electrification goals. If you’re planning to go all-electric, they’ll guide you through the process and help you achieve a cheaper to run, cleaner, greener and more comfortable home. Scorecard acknowledges the support provided by the ACT government in initiating and funding the required modifications to the tool to support all-electric recommendations, the development of associated training resources and production of communications collateral. Victorian households can now receive a discounted Scorecard assessmentOn May 31, the Home Energy Rating Assessment (HERA) activity became available under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program. This means households are now able to access rebates for a Residential Efficiency Scorecard assessment. The inclusion of the HERA activity in the VEU program received widespread support from business and community. Scorecard was identified as the only tool that currently meets the required features, and therefore is the first HERA tool to be incentivised. To access a reduced-cost Scorecard assessment for their home, householders can contact a VEU registered assessor or Accredited Provider (AP). Local government and ScorecardOn May 30 the Scorecard team ran a live webinar for local government areas (LGAs) with 133 registrations from across Australia. The session covered the basics of Scorecard, how Scorecard can help LGAs achieve their goals, and shared information about current LGA programs. There was an excellent level of engagement with several LGAs requesting meetings to discuss starting their own programs using Scorecard. We received many requests for the webinar recording, so to make it easy we have added it and the slide deck to the local government page on our website. Please share this link with your LGA contacts! There are local governments across Australia already running programs using Scorecard: Banyule City Council, Victoria
City of Adelaide, South Australia
Randwick City Council, New South Wales
