Click here ![]() September has been a significant month for our community, with funding commitments announced for the redevelopment of Cardinia Life, the Thompsons Road extension and priority unsealed roads; transformative projects that have long been priorities for our growing shire. At our recent Council Meeting, we endorsed a new framework to guide unsealed road improvements, adopted an updated policy for temporary community advertising signage, continued advocacy for responsible data centre planning and progressed our plans for the staged delivery of the Emerald Lake Precinct masterplan. I was also proud to be part of celebrations recognising the remarkable achievements of many inspiring young people across at this year's Good Choice Awards. Nominations are now open for our Australia Day Awards, providing an opportunity to recognise the volunteers, community groups and local champions whose efforts help make Cardinia Shire such a great place to live. I encourage you to nominate someone deserving and help us celebrate the people who strengthen our community every day.
