NEWS AND UPDATESOff the Track WA sponsoring Equestrian in the Park in 2025 Off the Track WA are proud to be sponsoring Equestrian in the Park for its return in 2025. With approximately 50% retired racehorses entered each year, we look forward to continuing to support those competing on their thoroughbred or standardbred. We will be sponsoring Best Performed Off the Track Horse and Runner-Up Best Performed Off the Track Horse for all three classes. With rugs, sashes, trophies and prize money on offer, we can't wait to see who will win this year! Additionally, we are also reducing the price of entry for everyone competing on a horse with an OTTWA Passport by $100. We look forward to another year of exciting competition. Pass Wide & Slow Join us as we embark on the first ever Pass Wide and Slow Awareness Ride, taking place in our very own equine hub, Darling Downs. Pass Wide and Slow is an international organization with the purpose of educating drivers how to pass horses safely on the roads. Awareness rides take place internationally on the same date each year. The Darling Downs Pass Wide and Slow Awareness Ride is one of the first to be planned in Western Australia. Taking place on Sunday 14 September from 9.30am - 11.30am, this is a free event however numbers will be capped at 50 riders/carriage drivers to ensure we keep everyone safe during the event.
