I wish all of the Dads out there a most "Happy Fathers Day" tomorrow!!!

Please join us for our West Hartford Republican Town Committee meeting this Monday, June 19, at 7:00pm.

Due to the Juneteenth holiday, the West Hartford Town Hall is closed.  Therefore, we will hold our meeting this Monday at The Corner Pug restaurant, 1046 New Britain Avenue in West Hartford.  The restaurant is giving us their private room at no charge, so I ask everyone to come hungry and patron the establishment by buying drinks and meals during our meeting.

As usual, we have much to cover at our meeting.

First, we want to update everyone on the vote to change the Board ByLaws and restrict public comment that occurred at the last Board of Education meeting.  We'll discuss the backlash from the vote and potential next steps.  We'll also cover results of the recent Prescott Bush dinner, our Campaign Sidekick Training and we'll discuss the need for Roberts Rules of Order training for our elected officials including the RTC.

In addition, we will have a couple of West Hartford Republicans that recently approached me about being potential candidates for municipal office both for this year and the future.  We will also need to choose a date for the endorsement caucus for our candidate slate.  This, of course, will include an update about our upcoming fundraising BBQ.  We will need all the help we can get for ticket sales and volunteer set-up.  If you haven't purchased your ticket to our BBQ yet...WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???  Please see the invitation and click on the button to purchase your ticket NOW!!!  We will need to give The Pond House Café a headcount very soon.

Finally, we will discuss some of the recent and upcoming marketing events for our RTC and how we are spreading the word in our community.  We'll also have updates on old business and some new business items as well.

Attached is the agenda for this Monday along with the minutes from our RTC meeting back on May 15.
