SSHP-DVSHP Regional Residency and Fellowship Showcase - Tuesday October 25th, 2022 and Wednesday, October 26th, 2022! The Delaware Valley Society of Health-System Pharmacists (DVSHP) will be co-hosting the annual Regional Pharmacy Residency and Fellowship Showcase on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022 from 5pm-7pm and Wednesday, October 26th, 2022 from 5pm-7pm. This event is being held virtually. Interprofessional Education Opportunity for P3 and P4 Students! We are very excited to announce the return of the in-person “PennDemic” event this October! Applications are EXTENDED to Oct 10th! PennDemic is an annual interprofessional education (IPE) simulation that invites students from both graduate and professional students from across both UPenn and Saint Joseph's University who are interested in learning more about disaster and emergency preparedness to participate. Rho Chi Presents: The Monthly Study Challenge! Want to see who could log down the most focused study hours for the month of October? Participate in the Monthly Study Challenge activity. Winners will receive a $10 Amazon Gift Card. You could log down your study hours by downloading the Forest App (For Apple users) OR the Flora App (For Android users). Open your app every time you study to build as many trees as you can for the month of October. Please keep an eye out for updates weekly! APhA White Coat Challenge: Want to be featured on the APhA Instagram page for a chance to win a HYDRO FLASK? Now is the time to flex that White Coat! National Patient Counseling Competition (NPCC)! Interested in further developing your pharmacy career? Think you have what it takes to counsel patients on a prescription? Want to compete for a free trip to APhA’s annual conference in 2023 to represent PCP? APhA-ASP will be holding its annual National Patient Counseling Competition through Zoom! Pharmacy students (P1-P4) can register to compete in the first round on either October 18 @ 6pm or October 20 @ 6pm to showcase their communication skills and compete for a spot in the final round in November. ISO Central High School alumni for the 4th Annual PCP Central High School Day! PCP will once again be hosting Central High School for the 4th Annual PCP Central High School Day on Monday, October 10, and if you are a CHS alumni, we need you! CHS students will be participating in CPR training and interactive activities related to pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. We would also love to have a Q&A panel with CHS alumni so that our guests can ask questions about what it's like to graduate from Central and come to PCP.
