Coronavirus (COVID-19) | Update for Residents and Families

Dear Resident or Family Member,

COVID-19 Visitation Reminder for Residents and Families at Calvary Robina Rise

Further to our communication yesterday, I am writing to confirm with residents and families that, in line with Public Health advice, all levels at Calvary Robina Rise are now open to visitors subject to the below guidelines.

Information and guidelines for visitors

Visitors must email kristi.cleland@japara.com.au to book their visit,
• Visitors are asked to include the following information in their email: requested date and time, name of resident and room number, visitors name and attach proof of their COVID vaccination.
• In line with Calvary’s recent national visitor update of 29 December 2021, and due to the continuing heightened risk of infection, one nominated visitor only per resident will be permitted.
• Each family should nominate the visitor and notify the home manager. The visitor is strongly encouraged to have obtained a booster vaccine if they are eligible.
Visiting hours are from Monday to Friday from 9:30am with last entry at 3:30pm.
• All visitors are asked to leave the home by 5.00pm.
• We kindly ask that visitors limit their visit to one (1) hour.
• The visit must take place in the resident’s room.

• The nominated visitor is required to complete screening requirements before being permitted entry to the home.
• As a precaution to keeping residents safe, visitors will be required to have a rapid antigen test (RAT test) before entering the home. This takes time, and we ask for your patience as we manage this important screening process.

As always, visitation exceptions can be made for residents receiving end of life care and for compassionate visits. Please contact the home manager to make arrangements.

We are continuing to liaise closely with the Public Health Unit as to when the current outbreak can be declared over. We anticipate our next update to you will be in a few days time, or as more information becomes available.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Sincerely,

Anne Marie Cassaniti,

General Manager Aged Care
