The State Electrical Commission (SEC) has just launched 'Easy Electric', a new one-stop-shop experience designed to help Victorian households switch from gas to electric appliances. It's free to use and gives households clear, personalised information to understand their energy use and potential savings.

This 10 minute video (based on the content of a workshop hosted by My Home Network and West End Resilience Network (WER)), explains tenants rights, rental energy efficiency, understanding and reducing your rental utilities bills, and accessing supports and concessions. Handy for homeowners too!

Hanging Rock / Ngannelong: A History: Newham & District Landcare Group (NDLG) invite you to an evening to learn more about this iconic landscape feature. Chris McConville, Historian, lecturer and author of Hanging Rock - a History, will discuss his research, stories of traditional owners, geology, flora and fauna and the farming and leisure uses of Hanging Rock. Matthew Nickson, Hanging Rock Action Group and NDLG member, will address the ownership, future governance, implementation of the Hanging Rock Precinct Master Plan and the historic community efforts to protect Hanging Rock. Movies on the Mount: The Koalas - a movie about survival: Macedon and Mount Macedon Landcare will host this free environmental film night. Nature on Farms Symposium: featuring a day of expert presentations at La Trobe University, Bendigo including a conference dinner with Dr Anika Molesworth at the All Season Hotel and a full-day farm tour of the Bendigo region featuring Bear & Twigg and DJAKITJ.
