Dear Resident and Family Members, COVID-19 Update for residents & families of Calvary Sandhurst Following our last update to residents and families, I am writing to advise that through the current testing regime results from the past two rounds of resident testing has remained negative. The total number in the current outbreak is 27 including 20 residents and 7 staff. Testing will be conducted again 16/04/2022 and we will contact you when these results are received. We have been advised that should there be no further COVID Cases during this time that the outbreak will be declared over by Sunday 17/04/2022. Calvary Sandhurst remains open for general visitation. Residents will need to remain, and continue to be cared for, in their rooms. Please be assured that our staff have prepared for COVID-19 exposures and outbreaks such as this. Our staff are trained in strict infection control procedures and are focusing all of their attention on the individual care needs of residents. We will update you again as soon as any information becomes available. We anticipate our next update to residents and families will be Sunday 17/04/2022, unless there are any changes that need to be communicated before then. We know that this will be worrying for you and your loved ones in our care. We want to assure you that we are doing everything possible to continue to look after the health and wellbeing of all our residents while keeping them safe during this difficult time.
