Aboriginal Elders as teachers of environmental knowledge YarnStrongSista offers a range of Professional Development workshops. In this environmental knowledge program, participants should gain a greater understanding of Aboriginal culture and feel more confident to support Aboriginal inclusive practice in their services. This
workshop includes storytelling and hands-on art experience.

This session is for Kindergarten Teachers working in the City of Casey, to update their knowledge and learn more about Waste and Recycling. Teachers/Educators attending will learn more

GRANTS, PROGRAMS, COMPETITIONS & CHALLENGES
Financial grants are awarded directly to successful applicants to get seedlings in the ground and help restore our unique Australian landscape.
Casey's 2024 Community Leadership Program (CLP) is NOW OPEN! This year’s FREE program will run from June until October 2024, with 10 face-to-face workshops held on Saturdays and Tuesday evenings. Expressions of interest open until Friday 19 April. The selection process will include an informal interview and a maximum of 30 participants will be selected to participate in the program.

Permafund Grants (Permaculture Australia)
closes 30 April 2024 This new small grant supports activities including permaculture education courses, food forestry, water harvesting and regenerative agriculture that demonstrate the principles and ethics of Permaculture, protect and improve the natural environment and help build sustainable communities. Warrawong Professional Learning Grants (Foundation of Graduates in Early Childhood Studies) closes 27 May 2024 Grants are available to early childhood services or organisations to provide professional learning opportunities for
early childhood professionals within the service/organisation. Wildlife Rescue Training Grants Ongoing availability This grant supports community organisations to access online and in person training for volunteers in wildlife rescue, transport, treatment and rehabilitation.
