Dear Resident and Family Members,

COVID-19 Update for Residents and Families of Calvary Robina Rise

I am pleased to inform residents and families that all tested Calvary Robina Rise residents have received negative results from the latest round of testing. In line with Public Health Unit advice, the outbreak at Calvary Robina Rise has now be declared over.

Consistent with Calvary’s Position Statement on Visiting in Aged Care, we will welcome visitors back into the home from today, 24 February 2022.

Information for visitors

  • Visiting hours are from 9.00am – 8.00pm, with last entry to the building permitted at 4.30pm. This is to ensure all screening processes can be completed with our day staff.
  • There is no limit to the number of visitors allowed per resident, per day. However only two visitors are permitted at any one time.
  • Visitors will be required to complete screening requirements prior to entry and wear appropriate PPE (including surgical mask and shield) whilst visiting. PPE is provided by Calvary. Staff will assist you as needed.
  • Visitors will be required to have a rapid antigen test (RAT test) before entering the home. This takes time, and we ask for your patience as we manage this important screening process.
  • Please book your visit in advance by emailing kristi.cleland@japara.com.au Please include your requested date and time, the resident’s name and room number, visitors name with attached proof of vaccination.
  • Any requests for visitation outside these arrangements should be discussed and arranged with the home manager. Please email requests and any relevant details to Beverly.Reyes@japara.com.au

Our staff will continue to closely monitor all residents for symptoms of COVID-19.

We are very grateful to our residents and families for your continued support and understanding during this challenging time, and very much look forward to receiving visitors back into the home. You can help us by sharing this information with your family and friends.
