National Minority Health Month

National Minority Health Month

April is National Minority Health Month, and it is an opportunity to raise awareness about the health disparities that are more prominent within racial and ethnic minority populations. During this time, there is encouragement and action being held in a wide variety of options such as health education, early detection and the control of disease complications.

This year's theme is "Give Your Community A Boost!" and NMHEC is encouraging its partners and the Nevada community to join the conversation and help raise awareness of minority health issues. View and share our toolkit below with social media and marketing materials.

We recently developed toolkits that include a variety of marketing materials that can be used to prioritize mental wellness.
