Dear Resident and Family Members, COVID-19 Update for residents & families of Calvary Elanora Following our last update to residents and families, I am writing to advise that through the current testing regime, a total of 24 residents and 9 staff have tested positive for COVID-19. All active COVID-19 cases reside within the Moule Terrace Unit and most have now recovered. There are currently 4 active COVID-19 positive residents within the Moule Terrace Unit. All other units within the home remain clear of COVID-19. Testing will be conducted again 20th April 2022 and we will contact you when these results are received. COVID Positive residents will need to remain, and continue to be cared for, in their rooms. We understand that it is very difficult for residents to be cared for in their rooms. Please be assured that our team will continue to ensure the holistic care needs of all residents are met. Calvary Elanora remains open to visitors. All visitors will need to continue to wear a N95 & Face Shield and receive a negative Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) prior to entering the home. Please be assured that our staff have prepared for COVID-19 exposures and outbreaks such as this. Our staff are trained in strict infection control procedures and are focusing all of their attention on the individual care needs of residents. We will update you again as soon as any information becomes available. We know that this will be worrying for you and your loved ones in our care. We want to assure you that we are doing everything possible to continue to look after the health and wellbeing of all our residents while keeping them safe during this difficult time. You can help us by sharing this information with your family and friends Thank you for your continued understanding and patience at this time. Sincerely,
