Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition!The 3MT at Carleton is a competition for graduate students in which participants present their research and its wider impact in 3 minutes or less to a panel of non-specialist judges. Competition will be held on Thursday, March 28 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Richcraft Hall second floor conference rooms. Participants will compete for prizes! First place: $1,000, Second place: $500, Third place: $250 “People’s Choice” prize: $150. Check out last year's competition here!

Paul Menton Centre Graduate Writing GroupThe Graduate Student Writing Group is for any graduate student working on an independent project (seminar or conference paper, grant proposal, journal article, thesis, manuscript, etc). The group provides a space for accountability for projects without traditional deadlines and the chance for students to set tangible writing goals for the session and for the upcoming week. |
Writing Support by CSASJoin the Centre for Student Academic Support (CSAS) this Winter Term 2024 for their Academic Writing for English Language Learners sessions on Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Pick and choose the session that works for you or join all of them! Final session for this academic term will take place on March 27 and will review common preposition combinations. Sessions are available hybrid: in person at 402 MacOdrum Library and on MS Teams.
