Innovators receive Early Researcher Awards

Ten Western faculty members have been recognized with Early Researcher Awards, attracting provincial funding for projects focused on health, homelessness and climate change.

A delegation from Western recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Makerere University to broaden existing relationships and set the stage for further research and collaborations in areas such as medicine, dentistry and engineering.

Researchers a step closer to a cure for HIV

An international team, led by Eric Arts and Jamie Mann, has developed a promising HIV cure using a patented therapeutic, which demonstrated 100 times more effectiveness than other treatments, providing hope for an affordable and widespread cure for chronic HIV infections.

New vice-provost and chief librarian announced
