Panda, Capital Hoops and Colonel By Tickets on Sale Thursday

Kicked off by the return of the Panda Game on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at TD Place, the Rivalry Series between Carleton and uOttawa is a can’t miss student event.

This year, tickets go on sale through TD Place on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. for the Panda Game, the Capital Hoops Classic basketball event and the Colonel By Classic hockey doubleheader.

Carleton Academic Student Government (CASG) Nominations

The Carleton Academic Student Government (CASG) is seeking nominations for councillor positions. Each program in the Faculty of Public and Global Affairs, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and the Sprott School of Business has a seat on CASG. Submit your nomination by Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

U-Pass: OC Transpo Card Issue

Some students have reported issues with tapping their U-Pass on OC Transpo payment terminals. If you receive an error message, show your Campus Card to the operator and you will be allowed to board. OC Transpo is aware of the issue and has a grace period until Friday, September 13, 2024.

Academic Audit (myAudit)

Your academic audit is your map to navigating your degree requirements. It records important information such as your academic history and status, making it a vital tool for assessing and planning your time at Carleton. You can access your audit by logging into to Carleton360 from the current students website and selecting “myAudit” from the important links menu.

For detailed instructions, the Registrar’s Office has helpful how-to videos on reading and utilizing your audit. For any questions related to your audit, please contact the Academic Advising Centre (AAC).

Introducing Consent Awareness Week 2024

Consent Awareness Week is Monday, September 16 to Friday, September 20, 2024. The Carleton University Sexual Assault Support Centre (CUSASC) is offering workshops, discussions and events to raise awareness about consent as a daily practice, sexual violence prevention and bystander intervention.

Join CUSASC to kick off this week-long campaign and continue Carleton’s commitment to fostering a safer and more informed community.

Are You Planning to Graduate in February or June?

If you plan to complete your degree by the end of the fall or winter term, double check your audit after registering in all your courses. Your audit should contain the following: “ALL REQUIREMENTS MET – IN-PROGRESS COURSES USED.”

Be sure to apply to graduate in Carleton Central (log in through Carleton360 on the Current Students website) before Saturday, November 30, 2024 for winter (February) graduation and Tuesday, April 1, 2025 for spring (June) graduation.
