The Vintage & Performance Car Show Returns This Month! 🚗
Get ready, Burnley - the Vintage & Performance Car Show is back on Saturday 13th September 2025 (11am - 4pm) and it’s set to be bigger and better than ever!
St James’s Street through to Curzon Street will be transformed into a spectacular showcase of vintage, classic and performance cars, from iconic retro rides to modern showstoppers.
But that’s not all… the line-up also includes:
✨ A photo-op with the legendary ECTO-1 Ghostbusters car
🦖 A roaring Jurassic meet & greet
⛳️ Free free crazy golf and a free car trail for families to enjoy running 11am - 3pm
Organised by Burnley BID with support from The Rotary Club of Burnley, this unmissable event guarantees a buzzing atmosphere in the town centre.
Community Day Fun with Burnley FC ⚽️
Mark your calendars for Sunday 14th September because Burnley town centre is the place to be! St James's Street will be buzzing with energy as Burnley FC hosts a Community Day packed with free, family-friendly activities outside Boots.
Young people can put their skills to the test with a penalty shoot out, show off their skills in the keepy uppy challenge, or take on the interactive cones. Whether you're a future football star or just up for some fun, there's something for everyone to enjoy at this one-off event.
Takes place 11am - 1.30pm.
It's a Win for Burnley's Aroma! 👑
We're thrilled to share that Aroma Asian Restaurant, a firm favourite in Burnley's dining scene, has been crowned North West Curry Restaurant of the Year!
Located on Church Street, Aroma impressed the judges at the English Curry Awards, standing out from tough competition across the region. Congratulations to the team!
Free NHS Health Checks
If you're aged 40-74 you can get a FREE NHS Health Check on Saturday 27th September between 10am - 3.30pm at a mobile clinic which will be parked outside One Beyond on St James's Street in the town centre.
If you are aged over 40 you may be at risk of heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, diabetes or dementia. A free NHS health check can help you reduce these risks and make sure you stay healthy.
Burnley's Towneley Hall Reopens ✨
Burnley’s Towneley Hall has reopened following a huge restoration project!
Extensive repairs have taken place across the Grade I listed hall, from the rooftops and stonework to centuries-old windows and intricate interior plaster.
Opening times are Wednesday - Sunday, 12-4.30pm. £5.50 for adults (12 month entry) and free entry for under 18s and students.
