To: All Staff – Calvary Albury

From:  Amanda Bennett, General Manager Aged Care

I am pleased to inform staff that all tested Calvary Albury residents have received negative results from the latest round of testing on 11 February. In line with Public Health Unit advice, the outbreak can now be declared over and we are able to lift the current visitation restrictions at Calvary Albury & Districts.

Consistent with Calvary’s Position Statement on Visiting in Aged Care Calvary Albury will welcome visitors back into the home from 15 February 2022.

Information for visitors

  • Calvary Albury is open to visitors from 15 February 2022.
  • Visiting hours are between 11.00am – 6.00pm, with last entry to the home permitted at 5.00pm. This is to ensure all screening processes can be completed with day staff.
  • Families must book their visit with the home for now by calling (02) 6057 1500 between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm to make a booking.
  • There is no limit to the number of visitors allowed per resident, per day.
  • Visitors will be required to complete screening requirements prior to entry and wear appropriate PPE (including face mask and shield) whilst visiting. PPE is provided by Calvary.
  • As a precaution to keeping residents safe, visitors will be required to have a rapid antigen test (RAT test) before entering the home.

Thank you for all that you have done to ensure our residents continued to receive the safest possible care, with such empathy and compassion over this challenging time. Your hard work is appreciated.

We all look forward to receiving visitors back into the home
