Speed limit engagement summary

Kia ora,

Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their feedback on the current speed limits along the M2PP corridor, between Raumati and Peka Peka, earlier this year. 

We also asked for feedback on the preliminary designs for the current section of SH1 from Peka Peka to north of Ōtaki, speed limits for that section of road and for some local roads that have been realigned or constructed as part of the PP2Ō Expressway project.

Next steps

We will be considering all feedback about the speed limits on the that we received from partners, stakeholders, community groups and the public.

Once we have determined appropriate speed limits we will formally consult on the proposed changes with the community.
