The move to Universal Credit

The Department of Work and Pensions is writing to people claiming one or more benefits asking them to claim for Universal Credit.

From August 2024 onwards, most customers on Pension Aged Tax Credit and Income Based Jobseekers Allowance will start to receive their Migration Notice letter asking them to claim Universal Credit.

Customers who get a Migration Notice letter which tells you that your existing entitlement is due to end must act within the deadline date to protect your income - if you ignore this notice your benefits will stop.

You can get more details on the change on the Government website.

The purpose of Insight’s scrutiny was to check the process to find out from customers’ perspective what works well plus what may not work as well.
