There will be no further testing of Covid-19 testing. If there are no further cases the home’s outbreak will be declared over on Thursday 28th April, pending the public health’s Advice. The only resident currently being required to isolate as per the Public Health Unit is the active COVID case. The home remains open to visitations. Visitors will need to continue to wear a N95 & Face Shield and receive a negative Rapid Antigen Test prior to entry. Please be assured that our staff have prepared for COVID-19 exposures and outbreaks such as this. Our staff are trained in strict infection control procedures and are focusing all of their attention on the individual care needs of residents. We will update you again as soon as any information becomes available. We know that this will be worrying for you and your loved ones in our care. We want to assure you that we are doing everything possible to continue to look after the health and wellbeing of all our residents while keeping them safe during this difficult time.
