I am pleased to let you know that all tested Calvary Kingston Gardens residents have now received negative results from the latest round of testing. This means we now are able to lift the restrictions at Calvary Kingston Gardens in line with Public Health Unit advice and visitors will be permitted entry, subject to guidelines. Are visitors allowed to the home? Calvary Kingston Gardens is open for visitation. One single nominated visitor will be permitted per resident during the home’s visiting hours, due to the heightened risk of infection and community transmission. This will be in place until further notice. Visitation exceptions may be made for residents receiving end of life care, or who may be experiencing distress, or where a special care and support role is provided. Please speak with the manager of your home to discuss arrangements. As a precaution, our staff will continue to closely monitor all residents for symptoms of COVID-19. Thank you for all that you have done to ensure our residents continued to receive the safest possible care, with such empathy and compassion over this challenging time. Founded in 1885 by the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary, Calvary is a charitable, not-for-profit, Catholic health care organisation. Our mission is to provide quality, compassionate health care to the most vulnerable, including those reaching the end of their life. With over 18,000 staff and volunteers, we have a national network of 14 Public and Private Hospitals, 72 Residential Care and Retirement Communities and 19 Community Care service centres. |
