Lutheran Media Manager Dr Tania Nelson has accepted a new ministry position at Mawson Lakes Community Church in South Australia. Tania will conclude her role with Lutheran Media in January 2026, after serving for more than two years. She says it has been ‘a joy and a privilege to work alongside the staff, volunteers and supporters'. Read more

Please pray for Indonesia
LCANZ Bishop Paul Smith and Rev Mark Schultz, the LCA's Assistant to the Bishop – International Mission, have encouraged our Lutheran family in Australia and New Zealand to pray for the people affected by devastating floods and landslides in Sumatra, Indonesia.
'Please pray for the thousands of people displaced, the families who are grieving those lost, as well as those who are waiting in hope that their loved ones will be found, the rescue workers who are trying to reach the affected areas and those who are trying to get aid to these villages.'
ALWS has launched a special Emergency Action appeal, committing $40,000 to the emergency relief effort, in a coordinated response with LCA International Mission. We invite you to donate via the ALWS website.
