CLUBMAP Wrap - Issue 29 No images? Click here We're back with the final issue of the Wrap for 2024, packed with grants, tips, news, events and more to help your community sporting organisation thrive. Firstly, we'd like to thank all of the community sport volunteers around the country for doing what you do! It's been a challenging but successful year for many in community sport and we're very thankful to everyone who tuned into one of our webinars, attended a workshop, checked out our new Resources Hub or even had an introductory chat with us about your organisation. We feel very privileged to work with so many volunteers and clubs who are doing great things for their communities. This year, CLUBMAP has been fortunate to work alongside incredible partners who share our passion for strengthening community sports clubs. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our long-time partners, the Australian Sports Foundation and the Active Queenslanders Industry Alliance, for their continued support in helping us achieve meaningful outcomes for clubs and communities across the country. A special thanks goes to our major Club Development partner, Bowls Australia, with whom we are thrilled to continue our partnership for another two years—a testament to the positive impact of our collective efforts in supporting their 1,800 clubs. We extend our appreciation to all our valued club development partners in local government and sports who are working with us so successfully on the growth and sustainability of grassroots community clubs across the country. There are more exciting announcements coming up in the new year about club development partnerships with local, state and national bodies as an increasing number of organisations understand just how well our club development offerings support volunteers and club sustainability. The CLUBMAP team will be in 'flight mode' for a few weeks while we recharge the batteries for an exciting 2025. We'll have limited access over the break, but if your club or organisation needs anything over the holiday period, please contact info@clubmap.com.au and we'll get back to you asap. We're deep into planning mode for 2025. Sometimes clubs know something's not quite right, but they don’t know what it is, which makes it very difficult to fix. Maybe you and a few other good people are doing too much of the work, volunteers are burning out, you're just keeping the club above water financially, and membership and sponsorships are constant challenges. If this sounds like your club, we'd love to help. Click below to book an obligation-free chat with the CLUBMAP team to discuss your club's situation and how to build a roadmap to a healthier future, along with help to identify a grant to pay for our support. We want to see people enjoying their clubs. |
