No images? Click here 14 April 2026 The mission to share the good news of the gospel with everyone – regardless of what language they speak – is an ongoing worldwide challenge. That mission, including making sound Lutheran teaching accessible to different cultural groups in Australia and New Zealand, is gaining momentum through a dedicated Chinese-language translation and media project supported by the LCA Local Mission Seed Fund. Across our Australian Lutheran school communities, Easter was marked with faith‑filled learning, reflection and storytelling, as students of all ages engaged deeply with the Easter message of hope and new life in creative and meaningful ways. Hanna says, Easter is a reminder that God brings new life even when the way ahead is unclear. The LCA has updated its Specific Ministry Pastor (SMP) Policy and procedures following the Special Convention of General Synod in October 2025. The updated policy and procedures are available here. Church workers, including pastors, employees and volunteers in churches are required to sign the revised LCA Standards of Ethical Behaviour and Code of Conduct. If you hold one of these positions and are yet to complete this document, please do so as a matter of urgency. You can find the form here.
