Funding opportunities

Business Growth Fund - EOIs close 14 May

The Queensland Government's Business Growth Fund is open for expressions of interest until 14 May 2024, 5pm.  Small and medium-sized businesses that employ 5-49 people (headcount) with high-growth plans are encouraged to review the funding guidelines.

This program offers grants of $50,000 to $75,000 to support the purchase of specialised equipment as a co-contribution with eligible businesses.

Defence and Aerospace Industry Development Fund

Applications are now open for the Defence and Aerospace Industry Development Fund, closing on Monday 10 June 2024, midnight. This fund is designed to help eligible small-medium enterprise’s (SMEs) acquire certification enabling them to participate in both new and existing supply chain opportunities, fostering their growth.

Financial assistance from $5,000 to a maximum of $30,000 (excluding GST) in matched funding (up to 50 per cent funding) will be awarded to approved applicants. Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander businesses may apply for up to 75 per cent funding.

Redlands Coast Small Business Hub

Redland City Council and the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training are providing businesses with free support and advice on:  

  • Recruitment and retention of staff
  • Business planning and guidance
  • Mentoring and support
  • Government grants and funding
  • Apprenticeship and traineeship support
  • Skilling Queenslanders for Work
  • Referrals to other agencies or organisations.

The Redlands Coast Hub operates from the Cleveland Library on the third Thursday of each month from 10am to 2pm.
