In a Father's Day message, LCANZ Bishop Paul Smith reflects on the gift and calling of fatherhood, encouraging Christians to give thanks for their fathers, pray for them and commend those who have died to God's mercy. Paul Ridley was ordained as a General Ministry Pastor on 30 August 2026 at St Petri Lutheran Church in Nuriootpa SA by LCANZ Bishop Paul Smith. Pastor Paul has been assigned by the College of Bishops to serve Light Lutheran Church in Freeling SA.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Lutheran World Federation General Secretary Rev Dr Anne Burghardt and Regional Secretary for Asia Rev Dr Rospita Siahaan will visit Australia in September, including visits to LCANZ ministries and an open forum at Church House in Adelaide.
