Off the Track WA Boyd and Silva Martin Masterclass

What an opportunity it was to be the naming rights sponsor for such an exciting event. Boyd Martin is an ambassador for the International Forum for the Aftercare of Retired Racehorses, of which Racing WA and Off the Track WA are also members.

With two lessons featuring retired racehorses, the night was filled with insightful learnings from Boyd and a real appreciation for Western Australian riders and the Australian Thoroughbred. Well done to the three super riders and their phenomenal thoroughbreds. We hope everyone went home with plenty of notes to use with their own riding.

OFF THE TRACK STORIES

We invite you to share the journey of your retired racehorse as they transition from the racetrack to a new life as a performance, pleasure, or companion horse. By submitting their story, you'll not only celebrate their achievements but also inspire others in the off the track community!

Submit Your Horses Off the Track Story

Read our latest OTT story, sharing the journey of Thoroughbred, Larrsen in his life after racing.

By My Admiration, Larrsen was bred with the intention to race. Owned by Brett Pope, Larrsen trialed twice unsuccessfully and was retired soon after.

Purchased from Tameeka Brown after spotting his advertisement on Facebook, it was love at first sight for Gemma Lee.
