Click here Supreme Court Lifts Public Charge Injunction in Illinois - On Friday, February 21, 2020, the Supreme Court of the United States issued a decision allowing the public charge rule to take effect in Illinois, the only state that was not covered by the Supreme Court’s previous ruling, which rolled back nationwide preliminary injunctions stopping the rule from taking effect. This means that the new public charge rule will now be implemented nationwide starting today, February 24, 2020. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has published new forms which applicants and petitioners must as of today.
