Public feedback open until 12 April as Northern Pathway plans progress

Kia ora,

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is progressing the Northern Pathway project to provide a seamless dedicated walking and cycling connection between central Auckland and Albany on the North Shore.

In spite of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are continuing to progress this project as infrastructure will play a critical role in the economic recovery of New Zealand.

We are seeking public feedback, specifically on several aspects of the section of the pathway from Westhaven to Akoranga.

Due to the Level 4 lock down, this public consultation will be taking place online only to ensure everyone’s safety.

We encourage people to review the information online, read our brochure and provide feedback. The project team will be available to discuss queries through the Transport Agency’s project webpage or email.

Click here to read more on the Northern Pathway project page and complete the survey to provide your feedback.

This public consultation is due to close on 12 April. Following this, we will produce an engagement report so that you can see how we have considered your feedback in our plans.
