Pioneer PulpitMarch 15 "More of MORE+" – Shane Anderson ————— Prayer Promise"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others." Here and Now Jacob Gibbs To be known in the Bible is not always a compliment. We can think of King Ahab, for example—who unwisely married Jezebel, who constantly went after the ways of his rebellious fathers, and who said to the godliest man alive, “You troubler of Israel.” He gave his ear to the evil one, and he listened to the devil’s lies as he framed Elijah as the cause of all Israel’s calamities. Soon the whole royal court and beyond believed the narrative that Elijah was the reason for the disastrous drought. Offering for March 15, 2025 Pioneer Operating Budget When Joseph Leek died, he left nearly $1.8 million to an organization that provided guide dogs for the blind. Nothing unusual there. Except that nobody, not even his own family, had any idea that he had that kind of money. The 90-year-old lived like a pauper, according to his daughters. He watched television at a neighbor's house to save on electricity, put off home repairs, and bought secondhand clothes. Livestreaming Schedule9:00 AM ET - Pioneer at Worship Offering |
