Chip sealing works
Further to our information in last week’s newsletter, this is an update to confirm we’ll be laying the first coat of chip seal on the section of old SH1 between Otaihanga roundabout and Waikanae River Bridge from next Monday 28 November (weather dependent).
This work will continue for approximately a week and the crew will return in the New Year to apply a second coat.
While we aim to reduce the effects of this work on road users, the area may be under stop/go traffic management at times and we thank people, in advance, for your patience. Use of the M2PP expressway is encouraged where possible.
