Welcome to your second day of specific population orientation! Below you'll find more information about today's events.
For today’s weather, we’re expecting partly cloudy weather, and a high of 87 degrees.

The New Student Orientation (NSO) schedule is packed with events that prepare you for your Penn career! Take a peek at some of the many programs that you have to look forward to this week. If you have any questions, be sure to reach out to your Peers Helping Integrate New Students (PHINS) Orientation Leader who will guide you through the week. Meet the iPHINS (International Peers Helping Incoming New Students)! Families are welcome, and refreshments along with grab & go lunches will be provided.

Come to your “one-stop shop” for essential resources and services for all Penn students.

Enjoy a picnic to welcome Penn students and families.

Specific Population Programming
While all new students are invited to take part in NSO from August 24-29, there is also some specific population programming happening this week. Be sure to use the filters on our NSO Events Calendar to find out about events that are specifically curated for you!
Daily Rewind - Monday 8/22
Specific Population first-year students stepped foot on campus!
International students met their undergraduate and graduate peers at the International Welcome events.
Students gathered at Hutchinson Gym for the Welcome Picnic and met President Magill and the staff from International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS).
Students also enjoyed a movie night in Houston Hall, and got the chance to meet more new faces.
TAP Phase Two is Live!
TAP Phase Two is officially live!
You will not be required to complete a quiz during this phase of TAP. However, this content must be reviewed prior to your mandatory in-person PHINS Orientation Group Meet-Ups and NSO programming where attendance will be taken. Failure to attend these small group activities could result in a registration hold being placed on your student record.
